A Study on Research Topic Trends in the Korean Journal of Rehabilitation Psychology Using Keyword Network Analysis

Abstract
This study aimed to examine current trends of key topics in rehabilitation psychology. A keyword network analysis was conducted targeting a total of 210 papers published between 2006 and 2015 in the Journal of Rehabilitation Psychology. The results are as follows: First, the frequency analysis of the research topics revealed importance in the order of depression, art therapy, adolescents, self-esteem, efficacy, social support, and stress. Second, a network analysis revealed that depression that showed the highest appearance was not included in the top 10 list, while stress commonly showed the highest centrality. Keywords of self-esteem, social support, parents of children with disabilities, and art therapy showed high centrality, and teacher newly emerged. Comparing to previously studies conducted based on the frequency analysis, the significance of this study exists in that this study utilized relationship networking analysis, and provides relatively new perspective in identifying research trends and leading topics in rehabilitation psychology.
